How it works

• Browse the basket of Introductory Letters. These are from people around the world seeking a pen-pal.

• If you would like to reply to any of them, take note of their Return Address and a few details such as their name and interests. This is not their home address, it will be for another shop in the network close to where they live.

• If you live near to this shop, we will be your closest Letter-Keeper. You can include our address as your Return Address with your name as the first line & 'Care of' the name of your Letter-Keeper. If you are just visiting, you can find your nearest Letter-Keeper on thesundayletterproject.com.

• Post your letter with a normal stamp at your nearest postbox or Post Office. You might also want to send your own Introductory Letter to another shop in the network. You can each check in periodically with your shops to find out if a reply has arrived.
